Refund Policy

1. Overview

At MyTicketDate, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every transaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed for ticket purchases made through our platform.

2. Event Cancellations

If an event is cancelled by the Event Organizer:

  • You are entitled to a full refund of the ticket purchase price.
  • Refunds will be processed automatically within 7-14 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for purchase.
  • Service fees may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstances.

3. Event Postponement

If an event is postponed to a later date:

  • Your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
  • If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within 7 days of the postponement announcement.
  • Refund requests must be submitted through our support channels.

4. User-Initiated Refund Requests

For refund requests initiated by the user:

  • More than 48 hours before the event: Full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
  • 24-48 hours before the event: 50% refund may be granted at the Event Organizer's discretion.
  • Less than 24 hours before the event: Generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

Note: Refund eligibility ultimately depends on the Event Organizer's refund policy, which may be more or less restrictive than the above guidelines.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Tickets purchased for events that have already occurred.
  • Tickets transferred to another user.
  • Special promotional or discounted tickets (unless otherwise stated).
  • Gift contributions and cash gifts for celebration events.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your MyTicketDate account.
  2. Navigate to "My Tickets" section.
  3. Select the ticket for which you want a refund.
  4. Click "Request Refund" and provide the reason for your request.
  5. Alternatively, email us at support@myticketdate.com with your order details.

7. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Card payments: 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • Bank transfers: 3-7 business days.
  • Mobile money: 1-3 business days.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Disputes

If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has been denied:

  • Contact our support team with your order details and explanation.
  • We will review your case within 5 business days.
  • Our decision after review will be final.

While we facilitate transactions and may assist with refund requests, the ultimate responsibility for honoring refunds lies with the Event Organizer.
