Payout & Withdrawal Policy

This Payout & Withdrawal Policy explains how earnings are calculated, processed, and paid out to organizers on MyTicketDate. By using MyTicketDate, you agree to this policy.

1. General Overview

MyTicketDate is a platform that enables users to create events, celebrations, and group contributions.

All payments made by users are processed by Paystack and are first received by MyTicketDate as the merchant of record.

Organizers do not receive payments directly from users. Instead, eligible earnings are credited to the organizer's in-app balance and can be withdrawn according to this policy.

2. Earnings & Wallet Balance

Organizer earnings are calculated after:

  • Successful payment confirmation
  • Deduction of platform service fees
  • Deduction of applicable payment processing charges

Earnings are displayed in the organizer's wallet balance within the app.

Wallet balances are not bank accounts and do not earn interest.

3. Settlement & Availability of Funds

  • Payments received through Paystack are subject to Paystack's settlement timeline.
  • In Nigeria, settlement typically occurs within 1 business day (T+1).
  • Funds will only become available for withdrawal after settlement is completed.
  • Pending or unsettled payments cannot be withdrawn.

4. Withdrawal Requests

To withdraw earnings, organizers must:

  • Have a verified MyTicketDate account
  • Provide valid bank account details
  • Have sufficient available balance

Withdrawal requests:

  • Are processed to Nigerian bank accounts only
  • May take 1–3 business days to reflect, depending on bank processing times
  • Are subject to review for security and compliance purposes

5. Withdrawal Limits & Reviews

To protect users and prevent fraud:

  • MyTicketDate may set minimum or maximum withdrawal limits
  • Large or unusual withdrawal requests may be delayed for manual review
  • Additional verification may be requested before approval

6. Fees & Deductions

  • Paystack transfer fees or bank charges may apply
  • MyTicketDate reserves the right to deduct applicable fees before payout
  • Fee structures may change and will be communicated where required

7. Failed or Reversed Withdrawals

If a withdrawal fails due to:

  • Incorrect bank details
  • Bank rejection
  • Technical issues

The funds will be returned to the organizer's wallet balance after confirmation.

MyTicketDate is not responsible for delays caused by banks or third-party payment processors.

8. Refunds, Chargebacks & Disputes

  • If a user requests a refund or a chargeback occurs, the amount may be deducted from the organizer's wallet.
  • Organizers are responsible for honoring applicable refund policies.
  • MyTicketDate may temporarily withhold payouts while disputes are under investigation.

9. Account Suspension & Holds

MyTicketDate reserves the right to:

  • Suspend payouts
  • Place holds on balances
  • Reverse transactions

If there is evidence of:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Policy violations
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Excessive chargebacks or complaints

10. No Cash Handling

MyTicketDate does not support cash payments or manual cash withdrawals.

All payouts are processed electronically through approved payment channels.

11. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
